Lemon Diesel Review- Sourced from Cannabisimo

Posted by Neal Michaud on November 27, 2016 at 11:25 PM

Good evening fellow tokers!

So today I tasked myself with reviewing Lemon Diesel; to satisfy my curiosity about this strain, I turned to SeedsMan to gather some more info.

On their site, SeedsMan says this: "Lemon Diesel is the result of crossing an early 3-way OG (Pakistani x Lemon Thai x Chemdawg #4) with a California Sour mother, itself a cross of a Mexican Sativa with an Afghani plant."

They also list this strain as "Mostly Indica". That came as a surprise. Lemon Diesel arrived in my Sativa sampler. My guess is that being a hybrid, it may throw some trait one way or another.

So I broke off a few bits, the bud was cured well, and the stems snapped with no trouble. The smell burst forth as I manhandled the buds; I was looking for the flavour, so I didn't bother crushing the bits any further- into The Smite they went.

Weight is always bang on

Lemon Diesel is a complex flavour for me. While toking and exhaling through my nose, I managed to tease out the scent of citrus. Even though having worked in the oilfield, and around diesel equipment, I had a difficult time noticing anything resembling diesel. It could be that I need a second go with the vaporizer, with the buds crushed up a wee bit more. Crushing Lemon Diesel a bit finer did bring out a bit more taste, but still plenty of citrus.

Pipe was up next. Lemon Diesel took to the flame nicely with lots of fragrant smoke. Here, I did notice some diesel, but more as an aftertaste. By this time, I was quite content with the "calm, but alert" effect. Mighty pleasing, no sense of lethargy or couchlock. My mind did wander a bit, teasing out my creative side; along with it came a general sense of well-being.

This is some really nice herb. I would love to hear your experiences with Lemon Diesel

Cheers and positive vibes!
